some of those tips did lead to the gilroy raid. again, while the inmates were not captured, it was also not a dead end. it was a dramatic scene, sheriff's deputies and police officers surrounded, then entered the gilroy days inn motel on murray avenue early this morning and emerged with several people in handcuffs. two women and one man. the agencies had gotten tips that the 33-year-old chavez had been spotted at room 236. as we reported, chavez and 26-year-old loron campbell escaped last wednesday night after cutting through a second story window of the investigators are still questioning the three people taken from the motel while shaken guests at the motel tried to figure out why their visit changed so abruptly. >> everything is very good and -- >> reporter: they allowed cameras in to showcase the aging facility and the relative ease of cutting through the old bars. officials were not commenting on today's gilroy raid, but did say they have gotten many good tips, including from some inmates and repeated the sheriff's warning to
