thanks so much, gloria.ight now, people in southern california are on high alert as the region is facing another round of dangerous fire conditions and a particularly dangerous situation. >> red flag warning is in effect until 3 p.m. today. we could see more intense winds before relief finally arrives. here's where things stand this morning. with the fires that have been burning for just over a week now. yesterday, officials confirmed another death, bringing the total killed to 25. containment of the palisades fire is improving now up to 18%. it hasn't grown in the past day and remains at over 23,000 acres. firefighters are also making progress on the eaton fire. it is also stayed about the same size and containment is up to 35%. but the big concern this morning are those winds through this afternoon. after that, though, conditions are expected to improve now by wednesday evening. >> wednesday night i expect the critical conditions to diminish. and then for thursday into the weekend, we're actually get back
