dari: ben is live at the quicken loans arena in cleveland with the latest on the quest for the gop nomination. >> reporter: hey. cleveland. a mild 72 degrees. we're outside the quicken loans arena in downtown cleveland where the action is underway. the seven candidates you mentioned who did not qualify for tonight's debate taking part in the forum. more on that in a moment. in the meantime, anticipation in cleveland has been building for weeks and across the country, dozens of media crews are lined up outside this arena, the home of the cavaliers and lebron james. security is tight. we've seen bomb sniffing dogs checking trash cans outside. inside, it's a huge venue. the stage is set for tonight's prime time debate only on the fox news channel. 4,500 people will take part in the audience for that debate, along with the 10 candidates who qualified. we did see one of those candidates. they've been going through their walk-throughs throughout the day today. ben carson came into the facebook lounge. this is a partnership between fox news and facebook. he answered some questions for the social med
