. >> for more on isaac's current path, let's go to gwen talbart in the weather center. what is the latest? >> we just got the latest updates from the hurricane center and not a lot of significant change from the last update at 8:00 tonight. it continues to churn across the florida keys. it's going into the warm waters of the gulf and upper air pattern continues to be pretty much the same. increase in speed the next 12 hours and it could make landfall anywhere from the texas and louisiana border, east to the alabama florida border. that's uncertain now. it's a well established upper level system. we haven't got a lot of change. we do have storm surge to be concerned with. now it's maximum sustained winds at 65 miles per hour. but tropical storm force winds extending out 205 miles. if you look at this track, you can see by monday evening, cat 1 hurricane. it's going to strengthen into a category 2 hurricane before it makes landfall. then once again, revert back to a category 1 as it hands over land and dissipates into a low pressure system. the cone of uncertainty is wide

let's check in with gwen. too early to tell if this will be a serious threat. >> absolutely too early to tell. 1999 anywhere from the next three to five days is just total uncertainty. it is anticipated to become a hurricane and we'll show the track and what that is going to happen. what happens once it sort of gets its way through past cuba is a $54,000 question right now. but here at home, things are a lot quieter and calmer. that is at least some good news. we'll see more sunshine today and yesterday's highs weren't too bad. we hit 86 degrees at reagan national airport. that is exactly right on for the seasonal norm. as far as dulles and bwi marshall are concerned, 83 degrees. those are just two to three below the seasonal average. today, we are starting off on the mild side today across our area with our temperatures being into the 60s and 70s and my little clicker here doesn't work r want to work. let's see if can i grab the other one and see if that will work for me. let's take a look at the current temp

gwen is down in the weather center good morning. >> good morning. we had a great started to weekend yesterday, plenty of sunshine not a lot of humidity which every pod diseems to like. -- everybody seems to like. things are changing we will show you where we hit yesterday. pretty close to where we should be. 1 to 3 degrees off the mark. 86 regan national, 84 dulles, this morning, currently 71 degrees regan, 68 dulles and 65 at baltimore, and not a bad start to the day, temperatures going to be just a little cooler into the course of the afternoon hours, take a look at satellite radar. precipitation south, pushing its way toward the mid-atlantic by this afternoon we expect to see that much needed rain for us however a deficit right now for our area, not turning our noses up at a chance to put a little bit of a dent in that situation at all. clouds rolling in, in the course of the afternoon as well we will end up seeing some of those showers by the afternoon hours our high of 83 degrees, light northeasterly wind, 5 to 10 miles an hour details later on
