we've got you covered live from the t-h media newsroom in dubuque, brad hanson, kwwl news. in all, these four projects will add nearly 200 more units for senior housing in dubuque. new details tonight -- an iowa man wanted for allegedly trying to kill his adoptive mother is arrested. authorities arresting 25-year- old brandon thoma and charging him with attempted murder. police say he broke into theresa thoma's home in elkader and assaulted her. she was later found by her husband and taken to the hospital. authorities were able to identify brandon thoma and arrest him in madison, wisconsin -- where he is waiting to be extradited back to iowa. one person is stabbed following a fight with two other men in a store parking lot. waterloo police say mark kelly took money from the victim and stabbed him in the arm in the casey's parking lot on la porte road. police later arrested kelly after he tried to run away from the scene. he is charged with first degree robbery. a second man -- david gillam was also arrested and charged with public intoxication. the victim's injuries are bel

kwwl's brad hanson getting the chance to sit down with all three of them tonight. he joins us live now from the t-h media newsroom in dubuque. brad this is an incredible veterans day story. incredible doesn't even begin to describe it--these men last saw their helicopter fourty four years and today they all came to dubuque for the first time in the cobra attack helicopter stands guard over the veteran's memorial plaza in dubuque. it last saw action more than four decades ago in vietnam--flown by these men--captain ken dehoff and chief warrant officer wayne burk. they're in dubuque ahead of a veteran's day ceremony, sharing their were hit by three 51 caliber machine gun positions, and essentially shot out of the air, and crashed and burned. and then wayne and i had the they were flown to safety by this man--chief warrant officer kent crisler.
