let's get to alyssa harrington. she's live with a look at the conditions right now. alyssa?oing to test this area. i'm here in the fountain grove neighborhood of santa rosa. one of the areas absolutely devastated by the north bay wildfires just six months ago. now, this area still looks like a fire zone. we have burned trees and empty lots where homes used to be. there's still the risk of debris flow and mudslides. that is what emergency officials are going to be worried about today. some of the higher elevations could get as many as 6 inches in the next couple of days. so what's going to happen emergency crews will monitor creeks near the burn zones. the sonoma county water agency installed new sensors along the sonoma county watershed to measure precipitation and rainfall. >> hopefully we can prevent damage or threats to life. you know, if floods are coming, we're not going to be able to say we can't stop the flood flows. but we can give people warning when we start to have flood stages. >> reporter: now, yesterday when abc 7 was in the same area, our crews found construct

those two suspects ran off and caught in the area thanks to a tip from abc7 news reporter elissa harrington>> reporter: around 8:30 this morning, i noticed a man and woman emerge from should be shrubbery near the crash site. i saw them walk down the hill, casually hop over the fence and start walking from highway 4. my photographer and i decided to get a closer look. we drove past them. they were not happy to see us. they were covered in mud and dirt and we called police. i snapped this picture of a man and woman hopping a fence at claeys ranch in hercules and called police. moments later officers showed up and took the man into custody. the man struggled, kicking the officers and yelled profanities. officers subdued him by shocking him with a taser. hercules police believe these are the two involved in an early morning chase that injured an officer. reserve officer says they were in a stolen vehicle and intentionally rammed a police car. >> when the driver put the car in reverse and intentionally backed into the police car, the officer was slightly injured, this time being called a neck --
