it's 60 in hayward. good morning, mountain view, 59.emperatures in and around the bay, about a degree or two cooler so not much change. we are looking at the coastal clouds hanging right here this morning but they are going to make a push across the bay in the next couple of hours. then retreating quickly back to provide sunshine and cooler pattern is on tap for later in the week. early at about 7:00, 8:00, i think we're going to get a finger of fog that moves on over into hayward and fremont and perhaps right throughout the north bay. by the afternoon, this quickly pulls back, some of it having to do with our low pressure moving out, as well. it will continue to disrupt the marine layer around the bay. to the south of us, they have had pretty good showers and thunderstorms. as it heads on out, we are looking at our next system on cue to the north and west that will provide the cooler air. back home, showers and storms, possible northern, southern sierra. 80 in yosemite and back home, 80 in campbell. sunny skies in sunnyvale, 70 there.

hayward police say the investigation though still need plenty of work.he big question is being worked on by forensic experts which is how did michelle le die. it was saturday morning during seich near sunol when a volunteer found human remains off a dirt path. it is one of the two specific areas police traced cell phone activity from both michelle le and giselle esteban following le's disappearance on may 27. the body was so badly decomposed investigators couldn't even determine the gender. the coroner's office said it could take a week to make the identification but sources say they made the quick identification using dental records. we spoke with a legal analyst who says this development will mean a kick-start to giselle esteban's defense starting perhaps with an evaluation of her mental health. >> whether she is competent to stand trial at this point in light her physical condition, also in light of the mental issues that are alluded to in those restraining order. all of that is critical for the defense and it need to start happening now. >> reporter:
