hello, i'm helena humphrey. we begin tonight with developments out of russia, where authorities have ordered the arrest of the leader of the wagner mercenary group, yevgeny prigozhin, a key figure in russia's full—scale invasion of ukraine. russia began a criminal investigation into prigozhin, accusing him of calling an armed rebellion. prigozhin accused russia of launching a deadly missile strike on wagner troops on friday and called on russia's military to be stopped. tonight, prigozhin claims that wagner troops have crossed russia's border with ukraine in multiple locations. he vows that he and his mercenaries will "destroy everything that's in our way." here is the wagner leader earlier. translation: they have been shooting at us, - we've been shooting at them, and that has been going on these eight long years — from 2014 to 2022. sometimes the amount of shelling and exchange of fire has increased and sometimes it has eased. on 2a february there was nothing extraordinary. now the russian defence ministry is

hello, i'm helena humphrey. we begin tonight with developments out of russia where authorities have ordered the arrested of the leader of the wagner mercenary group, yevgeny prigozhin, a key figure in russia's full—scale invasion of ukraine. russia began a criminal investigation into prigozhin, accusing him of calling an armed rebellion. prigozhin accused russia of launching a deadly missile strike on wagner troops on friday. and called on russia's military to be stopped. tonight, prigozhin claims that wagner troops have crossed russia's border with ukraine in multiple locations. he vows that he and his mercenaries will "destroy everything that's in our way." senior russian generals have called on the fighters to stand down, saying they are playing into the enemy's hands. the bbc in unable to verify prigozhin�*s claims and no images of wagner forces in russia have yet to emerge. moscow is tightening its security in response to developments. here's footage of military tanks in russia's capital. and here's new foo

i'm helena humphrey, glad you could join me.begin tonight in the us where former president donald trump faces federal criminal charges over his alleged mishandling of classified documents. on friday afternoon, authorities unsealed charges against donald trump. there are 37 criminal counts that include conspiracy to obstructjustice and retaining classified government documents. the indictment itself includes these photographs, showing documents stored throughout his mar—a—lago estate in florida. you can see boxes in various states — in closets, a bathroom and even onstage in his ballroom. the documents contained sensitive information on foreign countries�*s defence capabilities and weaknesses as well as the us nuclear programme. the indictment, which also charges a trump aide, lays out other other evidence in the form of text messages, testimony from former trump employees, and lawyers. lets break down what the charges entail. today's indictment is for 37 counts involving classified documents. it alleges he kept the files at his
