winds increase in the hills overnight tonight. fire danger arises especially in the hills. let's take a closer look at the dama danger in the hills. we are going to notice that the high fire danger really starts late tonight, gusty hill top winds, dry vegetation with low humidity basically means that any fires that do start will spread quickly. please remain aware of their surroundings. a live picture from our walnut creek picture. it's not that breezy yet. 6:00 tonight, still the winds are fairly light until later tonight when we notice the winds begin to increase, going into the overnight hours. so 7:00 a.m., you'll notice the wind direction out of the north-northeast about 25 miles per hour, and napa, that is concerning as it will dry out our air even more. winds continue to gust tomorrow night. you can download the accuweather app and track the temperatures, the wind, to wednesday morning they begin to subside, which is when the red flag warning will end. tomorrow morning, clear, windy in the hills. temperatures in the mid 40s to low 50s. tomorrow afternoon, a nice day.
