hispanic-americans are going to be about 30% of the population in about a decade or so, okay? the republicans have got a declining percentage of the vote. i think it was 27% for romney, way down from george w. bush, okay? so they're losing a growing fraction of the population. take a look at young people. you see the same kind of demographics. young people overwhelmingly supported barack obama, though there's a whole story i could tell you about the young people in a minute. but, again, those are going to be the main voters of tomorrow, and yet the republicans are losing those voters as well. take a look. well, who's supporting the the gop? well, in the 2012 primary white evangelicals accounted for almost a half of the people voting. okay. white evangelicals are a declining portion of the population. in fact, interestingly enough if you look at i think it's people over 50, about 29% of them consider themselves evangelicals. this is all american citizens. if you take a look at the under-29 people, something like 35 or 36% list no religious affiliation. they are either religious
