we will have some drifts of smoke and high levels of ozone especially in the inland east bay as well as the south bay. as we go through that commute this morning in brentwood, we have some low 60s to start and then it goes up fairly quickly as we look at our temperature trend jumping into the low 90s by noon, and it's going to be a great day to head to the beach and some of our coastal areas today, where it stays much milder, but still quite warm, but nice for some swimming, with some low 80s in santa cruz, eventually reaching the low 90s around downtown santa cruz. we're going to see some upper 90s for san jose, and some highs over 100 degrees for the tri-valley, inland east bay, as well as the far north bay. going into the forecast for this evening for the marlins game and versus the giants, it's going to be at about 78 degrees, but keep in mind that sitting out there in the sun that's going to be quite warm but it will feel nicer as we go into the rest of the evening and i've been tracking quite a few storm systems across the pacific northwest. they are keeping that cool air to the

east san jose as well as much of the south bay. we're up to 95 degrees. we're seeing some upper 90s for the inlandast bay with livermore reaching 99 degrees. 97 in walnut creek and hayward up to 90. we're still looking at some low 70s, some mild weather there. we're into the low 90s there. san francisco in the mid-80s in the mission district that will feel quite warm and the north bay novato at 95. there are storm systems and that's where the cooler air is. we're seeing our air sinking and warming up but it's also bringing in wildfire smoke from farther to the north and then going into next week, monday/tuesday some pretty big cooling as another storm system comes in and even brings in spotty showers to our north. we're looking at some dangerous heat today, tomorrow, as well as saturday with our temperatures in the mid-90s then. in the 80s on sunday and then upper 70s next week. some pretty big cooling as we look at our wide range in temperatures. we still have a big roller coaster here from day-to-day and that roller coaster reaches the peak tomorrow. we'll talk more about that. mike, you're star

throughout the day the south bay high temperatures warmer than yesterday but we'll have a nice breeze picking uhm. east san jose, morgan hill expect a high of 87 degrees for the inland east bay, pittsburg and danville reaching 90 degrees. hayward a high of 83. toward the peninsula, half moon bay reaches 69, while palo alto 86. san francisco reaching 75 in the mission district, and the north bay in the upp several days throughout the weekend, once again that high pressure comes in, we get a breezy northerly wind but there will be a system moving in across the pacific northwest that will bring them some cooler air and some rain. we'll catch a little bit of relief, too, but it doesn't last that long because by the middle of next week, high pressure comes back, and it brings in more of an offshore wind, very dry conditions and a higher fire danger. here is a look at our temperatures as we enjoy the last weekend of summer. fall officially starts on monday. we'll be at 91 degrees for the high temperature and getting even hotter on tuesday, reaching the upper 90s. we'll see that again on wednesday before it really cools off next thursday. so our spike in temperatures will
