jack kingston's district is 28% african-american. he wins by a considerable margin every number of years. the two of them really taking each other on, just heading into this early primary. david perdue getting less in election jargon. he's a newcomer running as an outsider. when asked if he favored rev new raises or tax cuts to lower the deficit, he said both. he has pledged not to raise taxes. an early indication of the level of rhetoric we could see in this race. i was talking to a david perdue insider. he said it's going to be a street brawl. >> michelle nunn had a big fumble on the issue of where would you have voted on health care. she gave a very weak answer. that's being played up big time. >> it is. the answer that is being played publicly is an edited answer. the original is more full, i guess you could say. there was no question you would think that a candidate who is in her position would have a stronger answer than the one that she did, but she laid out a little bit more level of detail. i assume the next time she's asked

jack kingston might have a shot of make night a runoff if he's a top two finisher maybe but the otherthings go as expected tomorrow they are not only going to be out of luck, they are going to be out of a job. do you remember the kerfuffle about the country's highest profile breast cancer charity trying to cut itself off from its relationship with planned parenthood? remember that. holy cow did that make people mad. so much so that the susan g. komen breast cancer foundation reversed the decision to cut off planned parenthood after four days. the fund-raising plummeted, a number of their staffers including eventually the founder and ceo of the organization quit. the group still hasn't quite recovered two years later. that whole disaster was the brainchild of this person, who is another one of the real contenders for that seat tomorrow. her name is karen handel rupping in part on the basis of that disastrous decision she made at komen. she's got endorsements from rick santorum and sarah palin but heading into tomorrow's voting, jack kingston has an endorsement from a pop fox news chann

how do you make sense of the fact these, quote, so-called establishment candidates, jack kingston, amember of congress, david perdue, a businessman and brother, i believe, of the former governor and karen handel, the three of them have emerged at the front of the pack. >> i think the fact is they've spent the most money. this is a primary that's going to spend a lot per voter and i think your numbers say about 600,000 republicans will vote and roughly $5 million to $7 million spent to buy each one of those votes. and so i think the reality is paul broun you, while having a grassroots appeal, didn't have the cash. david perdue could self-fund. kingston was supported by the u.s. chamber of commerce and karen handel was able to capitalize on very strong support from sarah palin and other tea party groups. >> when you look at this math there's a contested primary you have to be thinking to yourself, okay, what does turnout look li like? i imagine you're up in the fall as your fellow members in the legislature. the what democrats will be coming out to georgia? what number of them, what pe

interesting in this race is you kind of have -- if we can talk about handel in a minute, between jack kingston david perdue, you've got a kind of a shadow of the newt gingrich/mitt romney contest of 2012. >> who's playing the role of newt here? >> that would be kingston. he is a former accolade of gingrich, came in congress with newt. he supported him through the election. romney the parallels are there, a businessman who has done well through mergers and acquisitions. in a debate last night you had kingst kingston saying you put david perdue in the nomination slot and democrats will go after him as a job killer. >> is the tea party not as strong as georgia as it is in other states in the republican primary? >> well, it's a difficult question. number one, i don't think you have in paul brown or phil gingery the kacharismatic figur you have in ted cruz or ron paul. he's not going to fire people up. phil gingery has money but he's had a couple super pacs come out and try to push him away. paul brown, we had predicted maybe about this time last year that he would be -- because he had the backing

the top two contenders facing a runoff election, there is businessman david purdue and jack kingston beating out more conservative candidates. now they go toe to toe and what is essentially a third campaign. the winner will take on democrat michelle nunn who skated to victory. she avoided attacks from republicans who are more focused on one another. but as our poll pointed thought month, nearly 40% of registered voters were unshare of nunn or had never even heard of her. in pennsylvania, even the backing of the clintons couldn't secure victory for a long time support woehr also happens to be their inlaw. last night former congresswoman marjorie margolies lost her race by a 2-1 margin. her son married chelsea clinton in 2010. however, she served one term in congress in the 90s but lost re-election after voting for president clinton's budget. they helped fundraise in her come back attempt. her opponent is brendan boil who will now head to the general election in a district that is heavily favored for democrats. >>> so it's been a really good week for advocates of marriage equality. pen
