( james ) the most recent incident happened early sunday morning.ho asaulted a man on the east side of campus. the victim is expected to be ok. police are also looking for the person who tried to break into a residence hall by prying open a window screen. it was actually a student who scared him off. that student told police he heard noises at his window and when he looked out he saw a person holding the window screen. the would be burglar ran off. and over the last month there have also been reports of indecent exposure and assault. students we spoke with say they've noticed anxiety levels going up. ( james ) last week police arrested this man... he charged with prowling on campus. investigators are looking to see if he's behind two indecent exposure incidents last month. also last month, two people were sexually assaulted within minutes of each other. police are still looking for the attacker in that c

(james) new this morning... police have identified the man accused of trying to start a fire at an east bay denny's. police say 43-year old victor rubio doused several people at a hayward denny's restaurant with gasoline then attempted to light a fire. it happened last week on industrial boulevard. people in the restaurant held the man down before he could start the fire. they held him until police arrived. no one was hurt. he has been charged with 7 counts of assault and one count of child endangerment. ( mark ) a wave of assaults resulted in four people being injured in oakland. a man received scrapes and bruises after being attacked on linden street saturday morning. a man was then attacked on second street later that afternoon. the victim suffered cuts and was taken to the hospital. just a few hours later a woman was taken to the hospital with cuts after someone assaulted her with a knife. that happened on telegraph avenue. just after midni

james comey could testify to both committees. so why isn't he? why is he picking the senate intelligence committee over the senate judiciary committee? which actually has jurisdiction over the fbi and the justice department. the reason is the senate judiciary committee is frequently a partisan circus compared to the senate intelligence committee. the senate judiciary committee has 20 members. the intelligence committee has only 15. that means there are 11 republicans on the senate judiciary committee and only eight republicans on the senate intelligence committee. the senate judiciary committee has a large group of republican senators who don't want to focus on the real issues that james comey is there to testify about. james comey knows that ted cruz on the senate judiciary committee and john cornyn and orrin hatch on the judiciary committee and chuck grassley on the judiciary committee and senator kennedy of louisiana on the judiciary committee would once again reliably push whatever trump talking points they think will work that day. ted cruz
