abc's janai norman is following the new developments from northwest. also today - president trump will host his first re-election update on the state of the chesapeake bay. maryland's congresssional delegation will meet at the capitol to discuss the health and future of the bay. last month, lawmakers on both sides rejected the president's proposed cuts in federal funding to bay-related programs. the annual chesapeake bay report card found the health of the bay has improved.. but itls still only getting a "c" grade from scientists. speaking of the bay - bad news for a regional favorite. maryland has shortened this year's crab season by ten days because of a loss in blue crab population. the annual blue crab advisory report finds the number of females is actually up, but the overall number is down about 18 percent. that has the group recommending a limit on the number of crabs that can be harvested this fall. coming up at six - time magazine declaring "fake new down this magazine on the walls of his golf clubs. plus - a cloud of chemicals filling a flori
