where jeff goldberg is live for us now with whom police are looking for now. jeff? jeff: this was an awful situation it happened in front of a popular nightclub. the victim got hit in the back of the head with an only. the investigation has stalled. they are looking for help to solve the crime. the man was walking to catch up with friends when he tells police he was hit in the back of the head with the object and beaten by five or six men. they took the man's military i.d. and witnesses helped the victim who got up and did leave the scene. but the next morning the 22-year-old man realized the injuries were worse than he thought and he got help in arlington but police want the main witness or anyone else to come forward and identify the suspect who they say attacked the victim for no other reason than robbery. >> this individual was trying to do a thing for his friend and was the victim of a heinous attack. jeff: so while this situation took place earlier this month, at the same time that arlington is investigating a string of attempted celebrate assaults. five in th

jeff? jeff: well, it's just after 10:00, the woman in the early 20's was dropped off after work at the corner of south frederick and columbia pikes. she headed this direction north to the apartment complex when she tells police a man grabbed her and took her in a wooded area. thankfully she was able to successfully fight off the attacker. the woman tells police initially she noticed a man holding a stick nearby but thought nothing of it. then as she was about to make a call on the phone she says that man came up and grabbed her from the side. pulled her toward wooded area and demanded she take off her clothes. she kicked and screamed, got away, running home and called 911. he took off with the cell phone. this is the fifth attempted sexual assault in arlington in the past three weeks. there each case the woman is in her early 20's or 30's, walking alone at night and the man has come up from the side or behind. they are looking into or not the cases -- whether or not the cases are connected.

jeff >> jeff :police said a man who is shot and killed by officer was wanted for murder and had plans on killing again. friends and famil of 40 richard jacquez gathered near the place where he was shot and killed by police on monday night. they characterized him as a loving friend and family member but police say that jacquez was a cold blooded killer and released this video to kron four to prove it. police say he and two other men were armed with what police are calling a tech nine style handgunspointing them at a man in a white t shirt.later identified as christopher wrenwren was found dead in the office building where this video was recorded. police say jacquez was wanted for wren's murder. officers shot and killed another suspect in wren's muder on sunday. a felony warrant was issued and police were tracking jacquez when it came to light that he planned on killing the woman who was in his car on monday night. a pursuit resulted in a crashjacquez took off on foot and sometime after that an officer shot him and killed him. police say he was a threat to the community and was consider

"action news" reporter jeff chirico joins us live with the details, jeff? >> reporter: yeah, hey walter humeville police expect to release new details about this drowning to help shed some light, on the circumstances, surrounding it. what we do know, however is that a four year-old boy, drowned at a private park, around 1:30 this afternoon. now let's set the stage for you. it happened at the neshaminy shore picnic park. that is a privately run park along the neshaminy creek in humeville boro. we are told according to the web site it caters to school, and corporate groups, and camps as well as family reunions. now around 1:30 a four year-old child was pulled from the pool, medics performed cpr on that child while they rush him to st. mary medical center in langhorne. however, we're told that the child did not make it and was pronounced dead there at the hospital. as i said, humeville police investigating this drowning, right now, they are about to release new information to help shed some light on the circumstances surrounding this, and hopefully release mor
