. >> "eyewitness news" reporter jen bernstein is live with the very latest, jen. >> reporter: good morning. we're right on chester pike toll house tavern is behind us this place has been opened for more than 50 years but unfortunately this morning you can see it did burn down. we have crews on the scene beginning to tear it down after a fire ripped through it. at 12:20 they got an alarm at the toll house, fire department did, for an active grease fire. we have pictures that some viewers sent us on twit their can show you the fire at its height. thirty-five to 40 fire fighters from surrounding areas did respond, there were a few patrons in this restaurant at the time but all were evacuated by the fire department. we do know that when the fire fighters arrived on the scene, police told them that the sprinkler system had gone off at first and put fire out ones but flared backup again and second time it got up in the eaves and ventilation system and ran the entire ceiling. fire chief tells us that the deep friar must have been hot and may not have been cleaned at some point to spark that fire

"eyewitness news" reporter jen bernstein live at the scene along germantown avenue with the latest, jen? >> good morning, we did just get update from police that 24 year old man, who was transport today temple university hospital, was pronounced dead at 4:17 this morning, detective are now officially investigating a homicide here in north philadelphia. you can see behind me, that this area is taped off. this is germantown avenue, right by butler. now, the focus of the investigation is on this 1994 grand marquis. just after 2:00 a.m., police did respond to this area, and they believe that shots were fired into the car where they hit this 24 year old man, and that this car was in motion when it happened. and then hit a toyota. that over to the left of it. now, again, police came over here, at 2:00 a.m. they found a man slumped over the wheel, he was unconscious, and had suffered three gunshot wounds to the torso area. police rushed him to temple university hospital, where he was put at first in critical condition, however, again, police tell us, he could not make it and did die there. if

"eyewitness news" reporter jen bernstein is live there now with the very latest. jen, good morning. >>> good morning, this happened around 8:30 last night, in this parking lot outside of the delaware valley sports center, here in bustleton, we do have 67 year old man, who is fighting for his life this morning, after he suffered a single gunshot wound, and also, this morning, investigators are looking for a pair, they're calling, armed and extremely dangerous. police say two men had just finished up at the shooting range inside the delaware valley sports center in bustleton around 8:30 last night. as they were walking into this parking lot, they found themselves face-to-face with a man and a woman. >> both the male and the female had guns. they demanded the guns from the victims, as well as their money, wallets, and cell phones. >> the 67 year old man in his 68 year old friends complied, handed over everything. but that wasn't enough for the pair. >> for some reason, after the robbery, our male perpetrator fired one shot striking our 67 year old victim in his groin.

"eyewitness news" reporter jen bernstein joins us to tell us more about it, good morning. >> that boy is now home with his family and he suffered some bruising but other than that it is okay, shaken up from this whole ordeal. police are looking for three suspects that did kidnap this 15 year-old and then tied up and robbed his parents. this happened in somerton yesterday afternoon, broad daylight, and you can see police taped off the home as they collected evidence after all this happened. the stepfather and mother were home they heard a knock on the door and they were confronted by two armed men said they kidnaped her son. one used a cell phone and made young man speak to his parents. police say he was outside with the third suspect. robbers tied them up win search the home. they took what they could and left but sped off with the 15 year-old still inside. we were able to speak with the teen's stepfather yesterday and here's what he had to say. >> as soon as they left, they tied me up, he i got outside fast, they grabbed my keys and i left, i followed him and chased those guys and al

last night reporter jen bernstein live at the scene in olney with the latest story. >> nicole, erika, frightening situation for this woman. she owns tulllup tavern, lives on the second floor. she told police around midnight, she was startled awake, when she was sleeping by two intruders, who were shining flashlights on her face. now the men then tide her up with clothing and extension cord around her neck, wrist, ankles, and then demanded moneyment she toll them she didn't have any, and that's when they ransack her apartment, tossing around furniture, ripping doors off her closets. they then left. she told police she was tied up for about an hour, until she could free herself and call police. earlier, detectives were processinghe scene, the video you are looking at right now, now, it is believed two men were able to gain entry in through the back where they either climbed up on a fence and stood on dumpsters to get to second floor patio and break-in. >> we're getting information that these two person traitors may not have been wearing any gloves. so right now, detectives are dusting f
