i'm jon kelley. >> i'm laura garcia-cannon. lots to get to. let's check the forecast and say good morning to meteorologist christina loren. >> good morning. one day closer to friday. 55 degrees right now in livermore, it's comfortable out there. throughout this afternoon another day with unseasonably cool temperatures. this morning you might have to turn on your windshield wipers up and down the peninsula, even in the north bay a little drizzle from thick fog. i'll let you know when the sun's going to break through. first, see how your drive is. >> we have to slow it down a little bit. 680 south of that walnut creek interchange, highway 24, we're looking at a disabled truck in lanes. we don't see slowing but it has been there about 20 minutes. and reports are it's in the middle of the freeway so one of your second or third lane. watch for activity. no reports of problems as far as the sensors go. further south, more flashing lights, your typical closures for off ramps for 680 both directions for the next hour. we'll watch as those clear up. >>

it's 6:00, i'm marla tellez in for jon kelley. >> and i'm laura garcia-cannon. we begin with breaking news this morning. right now police at the scene of a deadly early-morning shooting in san jose. good morning. >> good morning, laura. it appears a coroner has arrived here in the 2,100 block of center road. this is a trs is a strip mall, industrial area. the shooting happened at about 2:34 this morning and police arrived, pronounced the victim dead at about 2:53 this morning. all we know is that he is a 24-year-old male. he was outside of a karaoke bar. one witness told me that he heard there was a fight outside that karaoke bar, and then the shooting. i did go out to the parking lot area and there is the body still lying out in that parking lot area. however, the coroner has arrived and so the crime scene should be cleared, i would say within the next hour or so. they have not identified the victim. they are still waiting to notify kin before they do that. but i asked one of the commanders out here if the suspect was still at large or if he was in custody. all
