and kasie, back to you.now, if you look at the policy positions, for example, of bush, vis-a-vis, for example, marco rubio, on foreign policy, very similar, on the economy, very similar. is the main difference between the two of them, for graham, the issue of immigration? >> i think immigration is definitely a big part of it, jose, but i think experience is probably the thing that senator graham and those close to him would say is the biggest difference between marco rubio and jeb bush. i mean, lindsey graham has had a working relationship with rubio in the senate, but the reality is, rubio really hasn't been there very long and jeb bush has had a long, experienced career, and he, of course, while he was a governor, and governors don't typically, obviously, get very much foreign policy experience, aside from running their state's national guard, bush obviously had the chance to watch his brother and his father deal with foreign policy challenges, and he'll talk about how he has a unique window into dealing w

so kasie, that's subdued jeb bush, but i think what's rocking things today, is rubio v. christie. and i want you to talk about christie here in a moment, but he just did an interview with "the washington post" and i got to read you one comment. christie is hitting rubio hard. quote, i just don't think marco rubio's going to be able to slime his way to the white house. he wants to put out a whole bunch of negative ads, go ahead. i hope he will acknowledge at some point that i couldn't care less. this is nasty stuff between these two. >> christie proving there that he can throw a punch, in many ways being more like donald trump in giving "the post" that quote than maybe some of the other candidates. i would say that privately christie's team would say they don't think that rubio is capable of taking a punch and that that is the question here. of course you rightly pointed out that christie doesn't have a ton of money, or hasn't been sitting on a ton of money to be able to make that attack on the airwaves. so he's doing it in interviews -- >> he's doing it the trump way. >> exactly.

and kasie, the question to you, how will palin work in iowa specifically?ally good place to look at her impact there is senator joni ernst, who is a republican freshman senator from iowa and who was never supposed to be that senator. there were several candidates kind of in line ahead of her, including one what i would describe as an establishment businessman, somebody who a lot of people here in washington thought would be able to win partially, because he could pay for his own senate seat, essentially. and palin came in pretty early when it was still a risky bet and joni ernst being a woman, there was a lot of mama grizzly talk, but palin endorsed joni ernst early and she went on to sweep to the republican nomination and then have very little trouble beating democrat bruce braley when it came down to it. so palin played a pivotal reel there and obviously ted cruz has talked about how she played that role in his own race. but i do think if you look at the state of iowa, it was pretty clear that palin had an effect on this electorate. and i remember this ca
