a grand jury recommends charges be filed against state attorney general kathleen kane. nbc10's deanna durante obtained court papers that shows it's now up to a local d.a. to decide if she will prosecute her. >> there were no crimes committed, no documents leaked and i went in and told exactly that. >> reporter: but a grand jury says attorney general kathleen kane did not tell the truth. it's recommendinging perjury, obstruction and oppression charges against her. >> i'm not concerned about anything. i went to the grand jury voluntarily, under subpoena but i went. i didn't have to. and i made sure i told the truth. >> reporter: according to the 93 doumentsz sealed today, a special prosecutor was assigned to investigate. the probe was ordered for qane to testify under subpoena. the judge in the case accepted the recommendation of criminal charges against kane. >> that's a huge development. >> reporter: we asked a bucks county lawyer who ran grand jury cases for 20 years to look over the documents. he has no connection to the kane case. >> 12 citizens who have no axe to gr
