i'm kira klapper. meteorologist vianey arana joins us with a close look at our microclimate forecast. and we're talking about how cold it is. >> i know, it's cold. when i was leaving the house, i was like, wow, i feel the chill factor there, and for good reason, we are waking up with clear skies, a beautiful shot of the golden gate bridge there, you can see a little bit of breeze there with that flag waving. let's take a look at our current temperatures out the door right now. in fairfield, it's 27 degrees. we're below freezing in that spot. south san jose, 36 degrees. saratoga, 37. also up through parts of novato, look at that, that just dipped down to about 28 degrees. below freezing through some parts in the north bay.

i'm kira klapper. our meteorologist joins us with a quick look at the micro climate forecast and if it's anything like yesterday, i'll take it. yesterday was stunning. >> it was. it was the perfect mix of comfortable but also crisp and cool to start the morning. that's what we're seeing again today but we are heading into a cooler weather pattern over the next couple days. you'll notice changes and drops in temperature. beautiful view of san francisco. you'll see a little fog formation but the skyline is stunning. our current temperatures right now, we're seeing a mix of 30s and 40s. it's pretty cold in palo alto. 30s through sonoma and i want to show you the temperature change in areas like novato 7 degrees colder now and down through san jose and morgan hill. here is a closer look at the headlines i'll go in full detail in a few minutes. we'll talk about cold nights ahead and notice an increase in winds heading into monday. kira, back to you. >>> three of the biggest shopping days of the year are hap

i'm kira klapper. laura garcia has the morning off. >> and i'm marcus washington. want to get you started with a look at the forecast today. of course a lot of people are saying, is it going to be cold later? yesterday it was a lot warmer than i thought it would be. >> it ended up being a beautiful day. >> yes, it did. we are going to see more of the same today as we start out in san francisco, chilly temperatures for the early hours, but we'll reach into the mid-60s for this afternoon, just a few clouds mixing in but overall a mostly sunny day. and we're headed back to the mid-70s in san jose as we go into the day tomorrow we'll see temperatures cooling down to mid to upper 60s and it will be cooler even as we go into the end of the weekend. by sunday we're seeing highs in the upper 60s, low 60s near il for shopping or whatever you have planned for the weekend coming up in a few minutes. kari and marcus? >>> the traditional long lines, early morning start and occasional elbow to get the product you want, all things typically associated with black friday. >> but ar
