"today in the bay's" kris sanchez joins us live from the scene with what we know so far. kris? >> reporter: hi there, laura. that victim was found here in the parking lot of the bay 101 casino, the newer part, the part that is a multiple level building, and here's what our crews found as they arrived here on scene late last night here in the parking lot. there is a car with bullet holes and a shoe in the middle of the street. san jose police and the chp were both on scene here as it happened, just after 10:00, but because the shots may have come from the highway, the chp is now leading the investigation. the person who was found shot in the parking lot here was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive. if the chp has a vehicle or suspect description at this point, they have not released it, which means either they don't have one, or perhaps they know exactly who they're looking for. when they release the suspect description and the risks to the public, we'll let you know what we find out. >> thank you, chris. 5:01 for you right now. >>> as we enter day 33 of the gov
