ktvu's christien kafton is live at the scene., you were pushed back from the scene because of the investigation. >> reporter: yeah. that is right. we were pushed back. they were telling us the off ramp here at 164 avenue is a crime scene at this time. a couple moments ago we saw chp driving the wrong way, unfolding right here on the other side of the trees. you can see the whole incident happening right now on 580. zero traffic westbound as chp is doing a evidence search, looking for shell casings. in the last 20 minutes i got a chance to speak with the driver of the black suv. i got a chance to see the bullet holes. we talked with the driver. he says had suspects were driving erratically, weaving in and out of traffic, speeding up and slowing down. he passed that vehicle and that they pulled up on the left side of the suv, he says that seemed suspicious. he said something seemed odd so once that happened the suspects pulled out a gun, opened fire. i saw at least two bullet holes in the suv. one in the hoot, one through the winds
