jason: we're back with congressman lee zeldin who's running for governor in new york. so much for joining us. crime is a huge issue. look at in this graphic here. the crime across the country is a problem, but leading the way is new york city. it's unbelievable how much crime is up. i mean, look at in new york city transit crime, up 54%, for instance. as governor, what can you do to fight crime? >> the first thing i'm going to do right after i'm sworn into office is use my constitutional horse to fire a d.a -- authority to fire d.a. alvin bragg with. that'll be the first thing i do on day one. we need to repeal cashless bail in this state. i put a couple dozen or so proposals on my web site, zeldin for new york.com/secure our streets. we have people getting released early onto the streets who should remain behind bars. we're seeing correctional officers being assaulted with the implementation of the halt act which should be repealed. there's a lot to do. we know how to secure our streets. we have to make sure we enone-party rule -- end one-party rule and get this done.
