this is leon bibb. indeed, the broadcast begins with breaking news. person is dead after a robbery turned into a shooting in ashtabula county this morning and that is where te, a molina is live. what do we know, tera? >> reporter: leon, at one time, the sheriff described the situation as a hatfield-mccoy type of altercation. what we know right now is that this investigation was for some kind of robbery that resulted in an altercation and following a crash. killed. we just talked to the special agent in charge. a robbery happened in the area in the wee hours of the morning. on his way home, a deputy stopped here where he believes the robbery suspects may be. when he got here, he called for backup. the car sped off and hit the telephone pole. you can see in the video, four deputies fired weapons and a man considered a suspect was shot and killed. the woman was with him was not. none of the four sheriff's deputies were injured and all four of them now, are on administrative leave. again, the shooting victim is considered a suspect and that is all we know
