marches down from boston in the early morning of april 19th, they encounter 77 militia men from lexington green. nobody knows who did it but shots were fired that morning and then, of course, you will have seven and eventually eight colonials who will die on lexington common. british continue to march towards concord. as they start to march closer to concord, the concord, lincoln and bedford militias that had gathered early in the morning were in an area called marion's corner and saw the british colony up the road and because of the sheer size and number they decided to pull back. they were ahead of the british almost 500 yards. the colonials were coming to concord and out here towards the north bridge area and across the river and gather in an punkca tas sert hill. they get there early morning. approximately 120 soldiers are dispatched to go towards colonel barrett's farm and 90 additional soldiers are sent to guard the bridge and the roadway. we're leaving that bridge parking lot right now on our way to the barrett farm. from the north bridge to barrett farm was about just under 2 mile

syracuse, columbus, ohio, lexington, cincinnati, memphis is under a winter storm watch.st of the problems with the storm. the rain and ice is more problematic. we'll get the snow forecast, first. it will be shovelable snow in ohio, western p.a. and western new york. northern new england, 6-9, ski resorts, more than a foot. the problem is there's going to be a zone of ice. here is the ice zone set up. it is zero in north dakota, 60 in chicago. that cold air is going to win the battle. at the same time, we have moisture coming up higher in the atmosphere. the cold air sinks and settles in the ground. the warm air moves over top of it. rain drops are falling out of the clouds. then they freeze and we get the icy conditions there. the problem areas are going to be around memphis, kentucky, indiana, indianapolis and back through ohio. eventually, we push it to new england. here is the ice forecast. anything over a quarter inch, downed tree limbs, that's the blue color. western portions of kentucky, central indiana, areas north of pittsburgh. pittsburgh may get spared the wors
