abc2 news linda so is live this morning at baltimore county police headquarters with the latest on the search for the suspect. linda? >> reporter: i talked to county dispatch about an hour ago. the suspect is still on the run and we have all new information on the victim this morning. we have learned that friends of daryl augustus will hold a vigil for him tonight. he's 32-year-old lennell ellis. police say on saturday ill legislation went to the home of a woman he has been in a relationship with and found augustus there. the apartment is on dun haven place in carney. police say a fight broke out and ellis stabbed augustus in the leg and he bled to death. ellis drove the body to a remote area in essex and set the pickup truck on fire. back at the apartment neighbors knew something once right. >> i did notice an odor in the hallway. and it just kept getting stronger and stronger. and it was really bad. >> reporter: plan to hold that vigil tonight at 7:00 in the church parking lot behind the immaculate conception in towson. if you know where the suspect is, ellis, you should call county
