would be bristol county, plymouth county, the cape and the islands, a few localized downpours there. i wish we were going the throw two, three inches of rain gradually. we have that extreme drought. it's not going to happen. a quarter to a half inch boston north and west. there may be pockets of an inch plus down from plymouth county, bristol county and the cape and the islands. but you get a more beneficial rain, you would have needed that storm to track a little faster and a little further off to the northeast. that northeasterly wind will increase, 15 to 20mph, 30mph right now. i do expect peak gusts across the cape and the islands 40 to 50mph. there may be a few gusts that would push 50mph. closer to 30 in boston and metro west 20 to 30. so it's not overpowering in terms of the winds, but the trees stressed out because of the drought situation, a few of them may come down, especially near buzzards bay and the cape and the islands. so let's keep an eye on that. this is a huge wave spins off shore. waves running 20 to 30 feet to our south. so off shore waters, 20-foot waves. closer
