good morning, marcus. the alameda county sheriff's office has emphasized that what happened here last night at oakland international airport was not an act of terrorism, rather an accident that ended with that driver in handcuffs and being taken to jail. take a look at this scene, this happened around 6:00 last night. the 15-year-old driver of that maroon suv collided with another vehicle in front of terminal one here at oakland international. four people were hurt including two pedestrians who were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, two other people refused treatment including one who was hit by flying luggage. the sheriff's office has not released the name of that driver yet but did arrest this person for felony reckless driving that resulted in an injury and for driving without a license. >> his foot at some point got stuck on the accelerator and that he was not very familiar with operating a motor vehicle. >> reporter: no flights were canceled, but we know of some passengers who missed their fl

i'm marcus washington. >> i'm in for laura garcia. this is storm ranger working overnight right now, working as hard as our meteorologists. >> yes, we do need the storm ranger and we're getting clearing in the north bay. getting a break from all that rain and giving it a chance to soak in as storm ranger continues to scan and give us a high resolution on what is happening around the bay area. still heavy rain moving through danville and san ramone, moving east over the hills, and we do also have rain on 580 making visibility very low extending to hayward as well. we're going to widen out the view and timeline out when the heavy rain moves again through the trivalley and in the next 18 minutes, this goes into pleasanton and livermore in 30 minutes. a little break there. we've seen wave after wave of rain moving through as well as lightning strikes further north. we have a lot of energy in the atmosphere as cold air moves in north, and that's going to drop snow levels in the sierra. that's what we are watching as this disturbance we hav

. >> reporter: good morning to you, marcus and kris. yes, the fire is contained here on the 1500 block of jackson street, but as you mentioned a woman was rescued from the balcony in the process of this fire fight. i want to show you guys the balcony where she was when san francisco fire crews arrived here roughly around 4:00 a.m. now, they're saying they got a call about a fire at this apartment complex on jackson street and they saw that woman standing right there where we're showing you at that balcony asking for help or screaming for help when they showed up. so they were eventually able to get her down there through that ladder that you see there right now. we did speak to residents who were displaced as a result of this early morning fire that has been contained. here is what they're saying about that rescue and the fire that woke everyone up in this apartment complex. >> i saw flames coming out right behind the apartment, i live right next door. i came out and she was up there on her balcony. >> the hook and ladder took her out f
