hi, jon. >> hey, maria. at&t is putting subscribers to its unlimited data plans on notice if you use more than 3 gigabytes per month we're going to slow down your data speeds. this really affects heavy video streamers, the top 5% of data user. but i found that might not be the case. how? i looked at a year's worth of my own bills. i might be called a power user, but i don't watch much streaming video. so a good portion of the day i'm not moving data on at&t's networks. still, i do lots of e-mail shopping and searching. so am i a data hog? no, your typical month i use about a gig of data or less, well below the 3 gig minute. see the spikes in june, october, and january? those are months where i spent a week or more at a time on the road away from my usual wifi networks. my data use is more than twice the normal level. it won't take much for folks who aren't junkies to bump up against this threshold if they're power users and frequent travelers, as many of our viewers are. verizon is doing this too, with peopl
