i think marian laid out a very plausible scenario that we've seen peak centralization and perhaps the e.u. might itself become serious about things like be subsidiarity. if the e.u. had been serious, the brexit vote may never have happened. so what we may see is an e.u. that is more responsive to the demands of its member states and less controlling of them when they enter. again, the former prime minister of the czech republic pointed out that he had spent years repealing all the soviet laws and then when he joined the e.u. he had to start reimposing them. so if subsidiarity is treated seriously, then that isn't as big a problem. at which point i think the e.u. becomes more attractive to new nations than it is at the moment. >> i do agree with that. but i would also note that over the past few days leaders have met off the coast of italy to discuss the future direction of the european union. this cannot be a clique. the european union cannot insulate itself with its three prominent members defining terms for other member states. they need to learn from their mistakes and actually bro

i want to say the ada centers are amazing and marian does a great job. they are free and available to everyone. i want to say a personal thanks to rodney hood of j.p. morgan chase because j.p. morgan chase as a company has made employment of people with disabilities one of their top priorities. he is an incredible individual who served in public life, but now at the bank, he is enabling people to have a better future. they're involved in something you will hear about that is unbelievably exciting. i will put in a plug because i have a pet peeve. here it is -- from people who are disenfranchised and poor in america, we tend to sit in our silos. people who are hispanic, go to la raza. people who are african-american, go to the naacp. people with disabilities are with an individual disability organization generally surrounding their one disability they identify with. i believe very strongly that the power and future is about inclusion and integration, so we tear down those silos and enable people with disabilities to participate. if they are african-america

hillary clinton support for the '96 welfare law hurt her friendship with children's defense founder marian at the time. why is that and what might we expect to see from a president hillary clinton on the welfare issue? >> well, of course, the bill was very controversial at the time president clinton signed and, in fact, marian's husband pete resigned from his position in the clinton administration in protest and so there was acr, -- acrimony and it's difficult to say because clinton said that he would like to increase federal minimum wage which could improve wages for people who are working but not making much money and clinton has always said that she would like to limit expenses on child care to about 10% of any family's income and as a result of that if that policy were enacted, people with very little in the wave income would have substantial subsidies from the federal government in order to make sure their kids are taken care of while they are working and that sort of policy will help them make ends meet. >> if donald trump wins election in november, what can we see out of trump admin
