mark tamayo is monitoring the air quality. good afternoon. >> good afternoon. when we don't have storms, the air quality comes down a bit. we've been trackingth haze. here's the live camera looking out toward oakland. a bit of haze out there as you can see here. there's nothing to mix out the lower levels of the atmosphere. once again, you heard winter spare the air alert issued. you can see the air qualities. you can't have fires out there. the main reason, we don't want to slide more on the scale because that could be happening if we had more fires. what's happening, a stable layer trappingth haze closer to the service. just for comparison, yesterday, you could see the values up in the north bay and the central bay in the 90s in the east bay and the saner da clara valley over 100. these numbers, everybody in the orange for today. as a result, that's why the air quality management issued that spare the air for today. there's a chance we could have more because the weather pattern is not changing too much over the coming days. what would clear out the atmospher
