right now it is 5 degrees in frederick, 6 degrees in martinsburg. these are current temperatures. these are not with the wind factors in. it feels even colder than negative 2 in newark when you factor in that little bit of a breeze. you can see clear skies overhead, satellite and radar. we have temperatures falling off completely with clear skies and winds. looking at 9 futurecast, we'll keep it sunny most of the day saturday. that usually produces a lot of melting, but the temperatures are just going to be too cold. we have this stream of moisture on the way sunday. i think that 9 futurecast is overdoing this a little. yellow usually indicates moderate to heavy rainfall. i think we'll see light showers throughout the afternoon on sunday and then as we head later on from sunday night into monday morning, those showers start to dissipate but colder air comes again. you can see that slicing down with the blue indicating the snow. what i think will happen is we'll see that rain falling on top of the snow that's already in place and then refreezing so black ice is a concern monday. ov
