there is word thousands of mcdonald's workers may be about to lose their health insurance. the "wall street journal" newspaper which is owned by the parent company of the news network got ahold of internal mcdonald's memo and in the memo, the company reportedly claims it may have to drop the coverage, medical coverage, when part of the health care federal overhaul takes place in january. these are so-called mini--med plans and they cover 30,000 part-time workers. and more than 10,000 mcdonald's locations across the country. a single worker can pay $14 a week. for benefits up to $2,000 a year, or $32 a week, for 10 grand in benefits. the obama administration is relying on the report in today's "wall street journal." a spokesman saying now, the story is wrong. the new law provides significant flexibility to maintain coverage for workers and the administration is working closely with businesses including mcdonald's that are committed to providing health benefits to protects health coverage for their employees. molly henneberg live in d.c. tonight, molly, how does the new law a
