we have a meteorologist maria molina in washington. >> we know that washington, d.c. 20-30-inches of snowfall with some luckily higher in western suburbs. there's one particular report from washington, d.c. that's being disputed because the crew that was measuring the storm lost their snow-measuring device during the blizzard. that's a big problem. they reportedly had to use a different method to measure the snow. it's a big problem for weather record of such a historic storm. a lot of snowfall fell in places like dc and up to nyc and it's going to take a while to clean up. take a look at some of the images in the region with a lot of snow. we have snow piles everywhere and buried cars in washington, d.c. area. i drove around dc and experienced some of the tough concerns. -- conditions. reports of winds reaching 85 miles per hour, so a very significant impact there. we also had to deal with the storm surge that caused flooding like places like new jersey. temperatures are going to be rising up freezing coming as we head into today and tomorrow. however, the nighttime
