morgan hill, 55 degrees. right now in half-moon bay, it is 23 degrees cooler than yesterday at this time. well, what happened was we had winds rushing over the hills, then down the hills toward half-moon bay. as it goes downhill, it actually warms. so, yesterday morning, we started with temperatures in the lower 80s there. as we look at the high temperatures for today, we'll be in the upper 80s to low 90s in the south bay. it is still going to be very warm. walnut creek, 93 degrees. san francisco, upper 70s and low 80s there. some upper 80s for the north bay. so, as you are getting dressed this morning, it's still a good day to make sure you break out the summer gear. sunglasses, short sleeves. a good day for the shorts and sandals and the hot weather for the next couple days, then more fall-like for the weekend. if you are heading to santa cruz, another great beach day. by noon, the temperatures will be in the upper 70s. as we look at the seven day forecast for san francisco, we'll be up to 80 degrees today
