mr. nunberg for a while now. what was -- was he drunk? was he off his meds? what was that? >> he was on the phone with me so i have no idea. he is a boisterous person. he is an inflammatory person. he -- there's some kids that like the cold pricklies and the warm fuzzies. they like all attention, no matter what it is. sam is one of those people. he'll say things in conversations that you know are just out there and you kind of lean to the side and follow the other crumbs he gives you. nothing he says can be used generally as a primary source. he needs to be backed up. but he is somebody -- this is just the cold hard truth, he is somebody that knows a lot of things and hear'ss a lot of this and will lead reporters in a direction or two that ultimately will come out very fruitful. somebody who is still connected to that world. why he decided yesterday to suddenly say he was going to rip up the subpoena and defy it, i'm not entirely sure. i'm not in his head. i can tell you sunday night when i was talking to him about the subpoena, he gave no indication that he wouldn't comply
