amos brown leaves san francisco's chapter of the naacp.says today's demonstration will combat, quote, racial bigotry and white nationalism. america's top episcopal bishop curry will join in the protest. >>> a man who was involved in the charcoal barbecue dispute at lake merritt in oakland may soon have the power to change those rules. video of the confrontation between this white woman and two black men went viral. one of the men was kensy smith. the woman said using a charcoal grill at that location isn't allowed. the bystander who shot the video says the white woman targeted the black men because of their race. rebecca kaplan nominated smith to fill a vacant spot on the committee that helps make parks and recreation policy. the final decision on the appointment is up to mayor libby schaaf. >>> there's plenty of opportunity to enjoy nature and the outdoors. all residents in san francisco live within a ten-minute walk of a public park. san francisco ranked fifth overall in the park score index. the only city with 100% access for residents.
