neil? >> neil: to your point, kristin, this is the third time in a little these than two weeks that the president used this type of venue, not a live video to provide feeds to the media to sort of get his point across. that strategy is a little unusual. he's done it a number of times but certainly like i said, i think the third time here since the dust-up in washington. what do you make of that? >> it's certainly unusual not to use members of the white house press pool to come in and film this for you, a farewell video like this. but like you said, this is kind of the strategy that this administration has been taking in the wake of the riot that took place on the u.s. capitol building back on january 6. it's also just striking neil, here you have president trump that really had such incredible -- gave the media incredible access throughout his administration, so many q&as, pool sprays, so much back and forth with the press, waiting to board marine one on the south lawn. that's how he came i
