rain just to the north and west. so frederick, western howard county, loudoun county get something rain showers and you push down into west virginia all associated with the first line of slightly drier air. not going to be a lot cooler behind the front today. our high temperatures will be in the upper 80s to about 90. once this front gets south and east of us, we should be in for a nice afternoon with a lot of sunshine and less humidity as our winds build out of the north and west and allow the drier air in. you can see not a lot of rain showers associated with it. i think we'll have a few early showers and then we'll see the clouds and the showers push to the south and east and we should again break out sunshine here by mid- to late morning and be in for a nice-hooking tuesday. this sets us up for a really nice middle and end of the week here with temperatures expected to be right where she should be in the mid-80s. here is the latest with isaac, still a tropical storm. it has been pulling in dry air for the past 24
