history using north ha korean documents that were captured actually during the korean war. so these are primary sources that you can't actually even find in north er korea itself today, but it is in washington, d.c. at the national archives. that is the bulk of the archives that i used. so it, it, it approaches the t history from a very much north korean perspective. you know, most of s the time whe i try to talk about this war, i mean, some people appreciate it, but i have also gotten a lot of, you know, push back as you can imagine. so i was thinking, you know, why would his dad appreciate this, so he goes on to tell the story i given that the korean war was the first time there was an integrated armed forces, it was the first time for him as a white american to actuallye be serving next to an african american. he was able to hear stories about his experience in the united states, which really h will come up to all of the come you know, jim crow, and the segregation and the d discrimination and the racism that come you know, african a americans in this country have to face
