england, and that will clear as we head through the morning. now, in terms of showers, the worst of them will tend to be across north—west scotland, gradually pushing winds are strong in the north, lighter in the south. towards south—eastern wales, there will be some showers on and off through the day. they'll all be blowing further eastwards on still quite a brisk westerly wind, but some dry spells in between. drier for eastern england and it's feeling cooler across the board. as we head into tuesday, it is a cooler—feeling day. there could even be a bit of fog around to start off the day in parts of the midlands and wales, perhaps. the storm has now drifted off to the north and the east. still windy with some cloud and some showers across the far north of scotland. some of those showers possibly wintry in nature, but lots of dry weather around and feeling cooler too — temperatures between 6—9 celsius for most of us. now, this area of low pressure needs a bit of watching as we head through wednesday. there could be some rain and some strong gusty winds for parts of east anglia, perhaps, as we head through the day on wednesday. it's a quieter day o

north—east england. here is the storm approaching tonight, for a while, temperature is likely to dip below freezing again, will be some snow for a while across northern ireland, parts of wales and north—westscotland could dip as low as —12, the coldest all week. the storm pushes its way northward and snow turns back to rain, the rain continues to pile into west and wales, south—west england, too. they could possibly be flooding here but the air is mild, 13 to 15 celsius towards the south. still cold across scotland and this is where we have our amber weather warning across parts of the grampians, they could be as much as a0 centimetres of snow drifting around with those strong gusty winds. widespread gales across the whole of the uk, some irish sea coasts and towards north sea facing ghosts, gusts of up to 70 mph. winds also picking up a cross channel coasts even towards the south—east of england as we head through sunday morning. this is where the bulk of the rain is likely to be on sunday, across central southern england, stretching across the south east england, some heavy downpours at times. still windy on these irish sea coasts, more showers packing into western scotland and into nor

western scotland, a bit damp to cloud for northern ireland, moving over the irish sea into north west englandres generally 11 degrees, i think, for england and wales. milder further north, typically 13 in scotland and northern ireland. those atlantic winds bringing in the cloud will push southwards behind that weak weather front overnight — that weather front bringing a little rain first thing in the far southeast. but following on from that much more cloud, so it's not going to be as cold to start on thursday. but sunshine, i think, is going to be harder to find. and in the far north of scotland, there could even be a few spots of rain returning here as well. temperatures going to be evening out because there's more cloud around, so typically 12, maybe 13 degrees. so quite mild, i think, on thursday. high pressure with us at the moment — starting to shrink away a little bit on friday. some stronger winds coming in ahead of this weather front, which will bring some rain into the northwest later on friday. stronger winds ahead of that, mind you. further south, though, we've got lighter winds.
