northwest wind 10. barometer 29.58. there is the major storm system pulling out of the picture right now. severe thunderstorms, nothing showing up on the map. wind advisories for the atlantic coastline. 78 the high yesterday. almost didn't seem like it got that warm but it was a muggy day and kind of a tropical feeling. 64 and 65 were the lows. 6.02 inch, a record. 5.72 at the inner harbor. the old record was 1.6 inches in 190. we -- 1920. we smashed that without the benefit of a direct hit from a hurricane or tropical storm. it was just kind of a strung out tropical system in which an old tropical depression got involved. here are the totals. we had the five to six inches around baltimore and seven, eight, approaching nine inches of rain just east of us. southeast baltimore and harford county were hardest hit along with areas long both shores of the bay. as far as temperatures this morning, we see some cooler readings from the northwest. in the 50's to the northwest of us but 60's to near 70 in southeast maryland down
