we have warnings all the way to omaha and back into denver wp we've had so much snow.t reported black hawk up there around 9000. we had like 16 inches of snow in the lower elevations. the big storms tend to be in late october, november and in march and april when we get that field of moisture from the gulf of mexico. that's what we have today. we have a warm sector. we have a tornado catch and a couple of tornado warnings in the past hour. this is more of a spring storm in early february. it's going to last through tonight wrapping up tomorrow as you go east on i-80 towards omaha and des moines. the record for a calendar day in february is nine and a half inches we're right about that. the biggest one they seen in february is only 14.2 inches. those big snowstorms occur in the fall and the spring and the winter tends to be snow, but not that much. we're above the six inches in just one day. >> mike, i can't help but to comment your hontough guy stanc. is that required in the snow? i'm mocking you. >> i only do this during the tamr hall hour on msnbc weekdays from 2:00
