news4's pat collins is live at the scene right now and has more for us. pat, good morning. >> reporter: indeed, barbara, that's the way it happened. it was around 10:30 this morning, they say a 26-year-old man ran in to the harris educational center here. he had complained that he was shot in his side. he asked for help. they called 911. police and an ambulance came to the scene. they've taken that man to the hospital for treatment. as it turns out, he was shot in a parking lot about three blocks away around 10:30 this morning. none of the activities here in the school were impacted by what happened here this morning, but the police investigation continues on at the 300 block of livingston about three blocks away from the school. we'll have more on this coming up on news4 at 4:00, 5:00 and 6:00. back to you. >>> new from overnight -- a 6.8 magnitude earthquake hit the philippines. rescuers have been digging through rubble to find the missing who may be buried in landslides. the death toll has risen to 43 and at least 40 others are still missing. the quake
