patrick's day in the sierra, cooper. having fun. >>> back in the bay area the investigation continues into the officer involved shooting in san leandro. >> leigh martinez with more on what police have told us, she joins us live with the story. >> reporter: the update is we have confirmation the suspect vehicle allegedly rammed into fremont police vehicles. this started early yesterday evening. we do know the investigation is continuing on bay fair drive, police say that the suspects were being tracked by police in connection to a car burglary ring. gunfire was reported just after 9:00 thursday night near bay fair drive. officers from the fremont police department were involved in the undercover operation. at some point the suspect rammed fremont police cars, a pursuit ensued and police shot at the suspects who were armed with a pistol. one suspect was shot back by an officer and taken to the hospital but a second suspect got away and is armed. san leandro police took charge of the suspect search. the shelter in place ord
