today loras college will hold a vigil to honor a pearl harbor veteran whose remains were recently identified. aloysius schmitt graduated from what is now loras college, an aboard a battleship on december 7th, 1941 during the pearl harbor attack. the u-s navy chaplin saved 12 people on the ship before he died. last month, d-n-a evidence helped identify his remains. a visitation is planned today at christ the king chapel from 3 until 8. a memorial mass with full military honors is tomorrow at 10 a-m at the alumni campus center. authorities arrested two people dubuque county. the u-s marshals arrested eric campbell in calumet city, illinois- south of chicago- earlier this week. he faces a first-degree murder and first-degree robbery charge. investigators also arrested 30 year old savanna stotlar. she faces a charge of 2nd degree robbery. officers had been looking for them in relation to the murder of collin brown. investigators say a group of people tried to rob brown at his mobile home on noonan street in key west, back in april. running away from his home. he later died. he was 21 years old.
