(vicki) joining us now is chief meteorologist lawrence karnow.... lawrence this is just one of a series of storms going to hit the bay? lawrence karnow: a new storm brought rain to the entire bay area. it is a much colder storm so snow levels in the bay area will drop to near 3,000 feet. that means we could see a few snow flakes on our higher peaks. showers will continue tonight with a chance of isolated thunderstorms. you can see the showers on doppler radar. they are more scattered now instead of steady rain. the wettest part of the bay area had over a half an inch of rain. on the satellite you can see the eye of the storm still spinning in the gulf of alaska. there is plenty of cold air the will rush in tonight and tomorrow.
