you can see just light showers, mostly impacting the peninsula. san francisco, nice and slick this morning, also all the way down to half moon bay and san mateo starting to get slick conditions. overall, as i stop the clock on the radar, you can see still mostly dry in the south bay. that extends all the way south to santa cruz. those showers will move in as we head through the next few hours. make sure you give yourself extra time this morning as the volume is building out there and mike is tracking a couple things. we'll get to his report in a minute. 65 in livermore, 64 in oakland and 63 in san mateo. futurecast shows by 8:00 a.m., you can see rather heavy, especially in the north bay all the way south along the peninsula. going to be a rough drive to work when you consider these showers. showers typically do that to the morning drive. also, as we head throughout this evening, it's still going to be slick out there. we'll keep these on-and-off showers in the forecast throughout the day, but they will lighten up as you make your way home from wo

just drier down here but into the ind china peninsula heavy showers pushing on shore and the southwest monsoon continuing to impact you here in the philippines actually being enhanced kind of flip from down south. this is really getting much more moisture due to a newer developing tropical system there in the south china sea. it's going to start to push out towards the northwest in the hong kong area. just down towards the south about four-meter high waves and also heavy rains and the mill e manila area especially along the coastal areas in western lizon could be seeing risk of flooding and landslides. let's look closer towards japan just off the west coast actually tropical storm still out here. really don't expect it to maintain strong intensity at all. up to 72 per hour kilometer winds here. main reason, there's this stationary boundary that's been continuing to dominate much of western japan. this is going to continue to get wrapped up in it. it's still going to provide moisture to cause the risk of flooding. we've already seen heavy rain reports out here, actually 300 millimeters

this is west 92 towards the peninsula.ing off the san mateo bridge, a heavier volume but at the limit across the bridge. the limit for the bridge. you hear close to the limit, no problems on the peninsula side. east bay side, we'll see slowing, not on 880 so much. that's just starting to build south through hayward, but coming off the castro valley y showing a good amount of congestion. then things ease towards 880. that's nothing unusual. the tri-valley moves smoothly here. speeds coming down just around 50 as you come through livermore, the worst slowing around vasco, all the way towards 680 you have speeds coming down a bit just in the speeds below the limit. the on-ramp for stoneridge drive, we had an earlier crash around the on-ramp, still reporting by chp, watch for the activity out of pleasanton. the south bay moves smoothly north 101. a quick peek at that volume, a bit of slowing on the camera. it's a nice easy drive, guys, despite the couple spots. >>> we want to tell you about a lifesaving catch from the daughter
