penndot camera and what it looks like at the scene. at around 4:30 this morning and that is where we are seeing the backup forming at the scene and that backup has only gotten worse. 95 southbound as you approach cottman avenue and this is the southbound side and you can see that delay hasn't impacted 95 just yet. but just beyond cottman avenue that's where we start to see the big backup forming and that's where you see it on the maps out there. indicating we are seeing really heavy delays as you saw in those live pictures. so, here's how you can get around it. you can take it at the aramingo ramp and that will help you bypass the delay and the accident scene. that's going to be a good option or stick to the boulevard. either of those will be just fine. but whatever road you take, make sure you leave yourself plenty of extra time and you also need extra time on the northeast extension. we're dealing with an overturned tractor trailer there, as well. on the southbound side just past the cottman interchange. the right lane and the should

doses seem to be penndot now on scene.his accident is blocking the left-hand lane, and folks are just squeezing on by. on the opposite side of the roadway, 95 southbound, have some volume, as well, approaching the commodore barry bridge, trailing back toward 476. and then volume southbound side of the blue route trying to get to 95. all because of earlier construction, moving our way to the roosevelt boulevard, good news, earlier accident that was being below g the left-hand lane approaching wissahickon has finally been moved to the shoulder. bad news now you have residual traffic on top of rush hour volume, never good mix. if you are traveling in the southbound direction of the roosevelt boulevard, expect delays approaching broad street, to continue, all the way down to 76. then once you get there, you drive down to 24 miles per hour, so starting to feel rush hour, in a big, big way. so 24 on the schuylkill, a lot of it within your western suburbs, 16 on 95, expect delays out of northeast philly then all the way down thro

penndot has a crew to clean up the garbage spilled in the street and that is what you see the north bound drivers getting around in the shoulder but you see where traffic is normally going 60 miles an hour this time of the day they are coming to a complete stop north and southbound here right before bridge street. that is why this is going to be a complete mess of the morning rush. one state trooper told me optimistically they would love to see more than these two lanes opened by 6:00 this morning but that is being a real optimist. they have a fuel spill here as well because these big trailers are ledded with diesel fuel and they have a hundred gallons of fuel spilled that they have to clean up before they get this road opened up. there is debris all over the place for 150 yards and that is why we have a mess. so already at 4:00 in the america when it is not a rush hour it feels like one because traffic is backup in both directions here on i-95 at bridge street in the northeast philadelphia. we will update you have ten minutes on this situation bull we will see this traffic backup chris a
