coach herb mcgee just won his 1,000th game as head coach here at philadelphia university. e game went final within the last 20 minutes or so, final score rams 80 over the team from post university with 60. we have some video to show from you inside that gym and as you might imagine it was a rocking place to be. the rams took on the team as we mentioned from post university in what can truly be described as an historic game for coach herb mcgee after only what can be described as a legendary career. it began as a player back at the school in the early 60's and then in 1967 mcgee became the head coach here and has never looked back. along the way mcgee has become a legend wrapping up 31 20 plus wins and by winning 80 straight home games between 1990 and 1995. he's even helped numerous nba stars improve their jump shots over the years enough so to earn him the nickname the shot doc and back here live outside of the jim, it is quiet out here but certainly it was a fun place to be as you can hear that gentleman right to my right. the students even rushed the court at the end the
